The City of Jerseyville Parks & Recreation Department's own Facebook page announced (Sept. 2022) that its renovated Lions Club Park space — funded partly by a National Fitness Campaign/Illinois Parks & Recreation Association grant — was open with '3 permanent pickleball courts with 6 courts painted over the basketball courts for temporary court availability.' Lions Club Park is directly adjacent to the originally-searched 'Wittman Park'; long-term city plans call for combining both parks into one health/wellness/arts complex.
