Local news (Advantage News, May 2023) reported the Grafton City Council approved a $225,565 contract with C.E. Mahoney of Alton to build two new pickleball courts plus a parking lot at Red Hawk Park. A follow-up local news report (River Bender / River County News) confirmed the courts were completed and a ribbon-cutting was held Sept. 9, 2023 during Family Fun Day. Original lead name was 'Pickleball Club'; no separate club organization could be confirmed — Red Hawk Park is the venue.
